The client
Covent Garden Kitchen is a restaurant in Central London, part of the TMS Restaurants group.
The brief
The client required a new website built according to current web design practices, and search engine optimisation work to ensure the site could be found easily. A database was required for management of a mailiing list and capabilities required included the ability to upload images, text and PDF files using a browser-based interface.
The solution
The site was created using XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS2. Tiny Web Gallery and CushyCMS were chosen for the site's content managment. PHPlist was installed and configured and templates created for the mailing list database. Keywords were assessed and implemented throughout the text, title tags, header tags and filenames (URLs). A sitemap was created and submitted to the major search engines. A link-building campaign was initiated.
